HURR Raises £4.08 Million to Expand Fashion Rental Marketplace
HURR, a London-based fashion rental marketplace, has secured £4.08 million in seed funding led by Octopus Ventures, with participation from D4 Ventures and Ascension
The funding will be used to expand operations, develop proprietary technology, and grow its white-label service, which powers rental for retailers like Selfridges Rental
HURR aims to disrupt the global women's fashion industry by offering rental second-hand designer clothes, capitalizing on the growing demand for sustainable fashion choices
The company has built a hybrid business model that includes peer-to-peer rentals, direct partnerships with over 85 fashion brands, and its white-label service
HURR also announced a partnership with the global resale platform Depop, which was acquired by Etsy.
