Trint Raises €4 Million to Enhance Transcription and Editing Platform
Trint, a London-based automated transcription and editing platform, has raised €4 million in Series A funding
The round was led by Horizons Lab, along with TechNexus and The Associated Press
Trint's platform combines a text editor and an audio/video player into one easy-to-use platform, which produces searchable, editable transcripts
The company plans to use the funding to launch a new suite of collaboration features and a new tool that combines a video player with an interactive transcript.
ProblemTechnology
"News organisations and other content creators struggle to make the most of their audio and video content because it is difficult to search, edit, and share. Manually transcribing hours of audio and video is time-consuming and inefficient."
Solution
"Trint provides an automated transcription and editing platform that combines a text editor and an audio/video player into one easy-to-use platform. This allows users to quickly and easily search, edit, and share their audio and video content. Trint also offers a suite of collaboration features that allow teams to work together on editing transcripts and publishing content."
