Rapyd Raises $300 Million in Series D Funding, Doubles Valuation to $2.5 Billion
London-based fintech Rapyd has raised £220 million in a Series D funding round led by Coatue
The funding will be used to double the engineering and product teams, as well as expand the "Self-Service" element of Rapyd's platform
The company's valuation now stands at $2.5 billion
Rapyd provides a fintech-as-service platform that simplifies the complex offering of local payment methods, enabling businesses to accept and send payments without having to build their own infrastructure
The company has raised a total of $470 million to date.
