Zodia Custody Raises $36 Million to Expand Crypto Compliance Services
Zodia Custody, a crypto compliance service provider run by Starling Bank co-founder Julian Sawyer, has raised $36 million in a Series A funding round led by SC Ventures, the venture capital arm of Standard Chartered
The round also saw participation from Japanese conglomerate SBI Holdings
Zodia will use the funds to expand its business into new markets and further develop its asset infrastructure
The company was launched in 2020 as a subsidiary of Standard Chartered to provide compliance services for the digital asset economy.
