Martlet Capital Raises £12 Million to Invest in Deeptech Startups
Martlet Capital, a deeptech early-stage investor based in Cambridge, UK, has raised £12 million in funding led by EMV Capital and Saranac Partners
The investment will allow Martlet Capital to acquire over 50 minority positions from Marshall Group, including companies across cleantech sustainability, healthcare, life science, industrial and semiconductor technology
The deal also includes the creation of a follow-on funding vehicle, MarQuity, which will be co-owned by EMV Capital, Saranac Partners, and Martlet to provide scaleup capital for targeted companies from the portfolio.
