Pharmacierge Secures £1.25 Million to Expand Prescription Delivery Service
Pharmacierge, a UK health tech company offering same-day prescription medicine delivery in London and next-day delivery throughout the UK, has raised £1.25 million from leading clinicians and angel investors, including Alex Chesterman, founder of Cazoo and Zoopla, and Simon Franks, co-founder of Lovefilm
The funding will be used to expand Pharmacierge's footprint throughout the UK and internationally, as well as grow its network of clinicians
The company's mPrescribe app, available on iPhone and Android, is the first of its kind in the UK, allowing clinicians to prescribe medication on the go
Pharmacierge's platform is built on proprietary full-stack technology, combining Electronic Prescription (EPS) and dispensary management (ERP) systems, with multiple APIs to handle the compliance and complexity of the tightly regulated industry.
