VividQ Raises £11 Million for Next-Gen Holographic Displays
Cambridge-based startup VividQ has secured £11 million in funding to advance its holographic display technology
The round was led by UTokyo IPC, with participation from Foresight Williams Technology, Miyako Capital, APEX Ventures, R42 Group, and previous investors University of Tokyo Edge Capital, Sure Valley Ventures, and Essex Innovation
VividQ's HoloLCD technology aims to transform consumer-grade displays into holographic displays
The funding will be used for team expansion, accelerating operations in the APAC region, and promoting the adoption of its Computer-Generated Holography solutions across automotive head-up displays, augmented reality wearables, and holographic LCD screens.
