Statement, a UK-based startup offering a platform for SMBs to compare payments providers, has secured £1.5 million in pre-seed funding led by Northzone
The platform aims to help businesses save on card payment fees by comparing settlement times, contract lengths, and monthly charges
The funding round also included participation from Notion Capital, Entrepreneur First, Triple Point Ventures, TinyVC, and angel investors, including Charlie Songhurst, Chris Adelsbach, Chris Mairs, and Freddy Kelly, founder and CEO of Credit Kudos, which was acquired by Apple in March 2022.
