Skyrora Secures £2.5 Million from ESA to Launch Satellites from Europe
Skyrora, a UK-based spacetech startup, has secured €3 million (nearly £2.5 million) in co-funding from the European Space Agency (ESA) as part of its ESA’s Boost! program
The funding will be used to complete the development of Skyrora’s XL launch vehicle, which is designed to launch satellites from the UK
The company plans to create over 170 high-skilled jobs in the UK and is aiming to carry out a test launch in 2022
Skyrora is the most advanced UK launch company and is on track to be the first UK company to launch satellites from Europe.
