Koalaa Secures £125K from British Design Fund to Expand Soft Prosthetics
Koalaa, a London-based startup developing innovative soft prosthetics, has secured £125,000 in funding from British Design Fund
The investment will help Koalaa increase its manufacturing capacity and build its 'virtual clinic' model, which allows new wearers to be measured, fitted, and supplied with prostheses remotely
Koalaa's products are designed to be more comfortable and affordable than traditional prosthetics, and the company plans to start commercializing its early rehabilitation soft prosthetic sleeves
The company is also planning to launch its products and services in select countries in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and North America.
