SumUp Secures £507 Million Funding, Valued at £6.8 Billion
London-based fintech SumUp has raised £507 million in a funding round, bringing its total funding to £1.29 billion
The round was led by Bain Capital Tech Opportunities, with participation from BlackRock, btov Partners, Centerbridge, Crestline, Fin Capital, and Sentinel Dome Partners
The investment will be used to expand SumUp's product ecosystem, enter new markets, pursue acquisitions, and continue to support small businesses globally
SumUp serves over four million small businesses in 35 countries and recently acquired Lithuanian fintech Paysolut to strengthen its banking solutions and expand its international reach.
