TrueLayer Raises $3 Million to Expand Fintech API Platform

  • TrueLayer, a London-based fintech developer platform, has secured $3 million in Series A funding led by Anthemis Group

  • The funding will be used to expand the team and increase coverage of supported banks before the API becomes generally available

  • TrueLayer plans to roll out in all major European countries in early 2018 and will build out its offering as an Account Information Service Provider (AISP) and Payment Initiation Service Provider (PISP) in line with the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2).
