Triptease Raises $4 Million to Expand in Asia
Triptease, a London-based travel SaaS startup, has raised an additional $4 million from its investors BGF and Notion Capital, bringing the total amount raised since last year to $13 million
The new funding will be used to accelerate Triptease's expansion in Asia, where the company opened a Singapore office last year
Triptease will also continue to innovate its product, particularly by expanding the rollout of its automated chatbot to more hoteliers
The company is also expanding its global leadership team, with the appointment of a new Chief Revenue Officer and a Chief Customer Officer
The fresh capital will also allow Triptease to invest more in its successful Direct Booking Summit, one of the hospitality industry's biggest events for hoteliers.
ProblemTechnology
"Hotels struggle to get more direct bookings and break away from relying on online travel agencies (OTAs), as OTAs take large commissions."
Solution
"Triptease provides a data-driven software platform to hotels, helping increase online conversion rates and reducing dependence on OTAs through the Triptease Direct Booking Platform, which integrates with hotels' own websites and booking engines."
