Currencycloud Raises €72.5 Million to Fuel Cross-Border Payments Growth

  • Currencycloud, a London-based fintech company specializing in embedded B2B cross-border payments, has secured €72.5 million in funding

  • The round was led by Visa, with participation from International Finance Corporation, BNP Paribas, SBI Group, Siam Commercial Bank, and existing investors Sapphire Ventures, Notion Capital, GV, Accomplice, and Anthemis

  • Currencycloud plans to use the new capital to expand its portfolio of emerging payment methods and develop its partner ecosystem
