OXCCU Secures €20.6 Million to Scale Sustainable Aviation Fuel Production
OXCCU, a UK-based company specializing in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production, has secured €20.6 million in Series A funding led by Clean Energy Ventures
The investment will be used to scale OXCCU's technology, which converts carbon dioxide and hydrogen into SAF through a one-step catalytic process, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional fossil-based jet fuel
The round also saw participation from investors including Aramco Ventures, Eni Next, United Airlines Ventures Sustainable Flight FundSM, Braavos Capital, Kiko Ventures, University of Oxford, Trafigura, TechEnergy Ventures, and Doral Energy-Tech Ventures
OXCCU's technology has the potential to significantly reduce SAF production costs and contribute to the decarbonization of air travel.
