The Edit LDN Raises $4.8 Million to Expand Sneaker Marketplace
The Edit LDN, a London-based platform that carries sneakers, streetwear and collectibles from pre-vetted resellers, has raised $4.8 million in seed funding
The round was led by Regah Ventures, with participation from sports players like New York Giants captain Xavier McKinney, the Philadelphia 76ers’ P.J
Tucker and Premier League club Nottingham Forest’s Jesse Lingard
The Edit LDN plans to use the funding to expand into the United States and the MENA region
The platform offers same-day shipping in the United Kingdom, a personal shopping team, and a proprietary tech stack that includes a feature that automatically applies margins to products
The Edit LDN also has an in-house authentication team that uses techniques like visual inspection, material and packaging checks, smell and UV/blacklight to authenticate products.
