Edgify Raises $6.5M Seed to Advance Edge AI for Data Processing
Edge computing startup Edgify has raised $6.5 million in a seed funding round led by Octopus Ventures, Mangrove Capital Partners, and an unnamed semiconductor giant, likely Intel or Qualcomm
Edgify's technology enables edge devices to process data locally, train AI models, and share learning across networks, reducing reliance on cloud computing
The funding will be used to further develop Edgify's technology and expand its market reach.
ProblemTechnology
"The problem Edgify is trying to solve is enable companies from any industry to train deep learning and machine learning models directly on their own edge devices, without the need for data transfer to the cloud and achieving close to perfect accuracy."
Solution
"Edgify's technology allows edge devices to interpret vast amounts of data, train an AI model locally, and then share that learning across its network of similar devices, training all other devices in various forms of AI, such as computer vision, NLP, and voice recognition."
