London-based startup Gyana, which provides a no-code platform for data science analytics, has raised £3 million in Series A funding led by Fuel Ventures
Other investors include Biz Stone of Twitter, Green Shores Capital, and U+I
The funding brings the total raised by Gyana to $6.8 million since its founding in 2015
Gyana's platform empowers "citizen data scientists" by enabling them to upload any structured data set and run a series of queries to gain insights
The company has developed two applications based on its platform: Neera, which focuses on footfall and human movement metrics, and Vayu, a more general-purpose app that covers a wider range of parameters
Gyana has secured contracts with major companies such as Vodafone, Barclays, EY, Pret a Manger, Knight Frank, and the UK Ministry of Defense.
