Gousto Secures £18 Million Funding Led by Joe Wicks
Gousto, a UK-based cook-at-home meal kit service, has raised £18 million in funding led by Joe Wicks, a health influencer
This brings the total raised by Gousto to £75 million since its founding in 2012
The company plans to use the new funding to invest in technology and accelerate its growth
Gousto is now delivering over 1.5 million meals per month and has seen 170% year-on-year growth
The startup also recently launched a customer-facing AI recipe recommendation tool, through which half of customer orders are now placed
Gousto claims to offer more choice to customers than competitors and is further ahead in terms of driving factory and logistics efficiencies through the use of automation and data.
