Zyper Raises $6.5M to Connect Brands with Superfans
Zyper, a London-based marketing platform that connects brands with their “superfans,” has raised $6.5 million in Series A funding led by Talis Capital, with participation from Forerunner Ventures and Y Combinator
Zyper's platform identifies a brand's top fans and invites them to join advocacy campaigns where user-generated content is seeded in return for rewards
The company uses computer vision and natural language processing technology to identify superfans, and it will use the new funds to open a San Francisco headquarters, invest in its predictive analytics engine, and expand its engineering and sales teams.
ProblemTechnology
"Brands struggle to connect with their most passionate customers, aka 'superfans', who can drive organic growth and sales. Traditional influencer marketing often falls short, resulting in low engagement and ineffective brand advocacy."
Solution
"Zyper identifies a brand's top 1% organic fans using AI technology, building a community of 500-1,000 advocates. These superfans are then engaged in campaigns where they create user-generated content in return for rewards and experiences. This fosters authentic brand advocacy and drives sales."
