Goodlord Raises £7 Million in Series B Funding
Goodlord, a London-based proptech startup that offers cloud-based software for estate agents, landlords, and tenants, has raised £7 million in Series B funding
The round was led by Finch Capital with participation from existing investor Rocket Internet/GFC
The funding will be used to build new products, grow the customer base, and invest in the further development of its proprietary technology to continue to make renting simple and more transparent for letting agents, tenants and landlords.
ProblemTechnology
"The UK rental market is inefficient and outdated, with a complex and paper-based process that makes it difficult for tenants, landlords, and letting agents to manage their responsibilities. This leads to delays, disputes, and a lack of transparency."
Solution
"Goodlord provides a cloud-based software solution that streamlines the rental process for all stakeholders. Its platform digitizes the moving-in process, including e-signatures and online rental payments, and offers additional features such as landlord insurance, rental guarantees, and tenant passports. This makes renting simpler, more transparent, and more efficient."
