Darktrace Raises $50 Million in Series E Funding, Now Valued at $1.65 Billion
Darktrace, a U.K.-based cybersecurity company specializing in using machine learning to identify and stop malicious network behavior, has raised $50 million in a Series E funding round led by Vitruvian Partners, with participation from KKR and 1011 Ventures
The funding brings Darktrace's valuation to $1.65 billion and will be used to fuel international expansion
The company, which now has over 7,000 networks using its technology, has seen strong growth in new and existing markets and plans to continue opening offices in high-demand regions, hiring more employees, and gathering customer feedback to better serve its base.
