OpenRent Raises £4.4 Million to Scale its Online Letting Platform
OpenRent, a UK-based online letting agent, has raised £4.4 million in funding from Rocket Internet's venture arm Global Founders Capital
OpenRent offers a cheaper alternative to traditional high street letting agents, providing services to landlords and tenants, including property advertising and tenancy creation and management tools
The company claims to be the biggest letting agent in the UK, with 50,000 properties for rental advertised last year
The new capital will be used to grow the team, specifically developers who can accelerate product development and help the startup build new features enabled by the scale it says it has now reached.
