StarLeaf Raises $40 Million to Expand Video Conferencing Services
StarLeaf, a UK teleconference company providing cloud-based video and conferencing services to businesses, has secured $40 million in Series A funding co-led by Highland Europe and Grafton Capital
The company, founded in 2008 by three telecoms and video conferencing entrepreneurs, has seen its platform usage double year over year
StarLeaf's sales pitch centers around its interoperability with all third-party meeting/conferencing technologies, its fully owned and operated global video comms network (StarLeaf OpenCloud platform), and its focus on user-friendly features
The new funding will be used to support growth, including expanding its Asia Pacific business and doubling its headcount in the next 18 months.
