Zzish Raises £700,000 for Edtech Platform
London-based edtech startup Zzish has raised £700,000 in funding, bringing total raised to £1.5 million
Backers include edtech VC Leaf Investments, and Neil Hutchinson, angel investor and founder of the Forward Internet Group
Zzish is building an app creation platform and a central dashboard for teachers that enables them to track the use of educational apps by their students.
ProblemEducation
"It's hard for education app developers to create educational apps that are engaging for teachers and that help identify learning gaps for students. Teachers don't have a centralised platform to manage and track educational apps and see data on student performance."
Solution
"Zzish provides a platform for education app developers to create and launch apps quickly, making them more accessible to teachers. They also provide a teacher dashboard to track student performance across different apps, which helps teachers personalise their teaching."
