pi-top Secures $4.3M to Expand Global Edtech Reach
pi-top, a London-based startup specializing in computing and learn-to-code solutions, has secured £3.5 million (around $4.3 million) in Series A funding led by Hambro Perks with participation from Committed Capital
The company, which started as a student project in 2014, has now raised over £4.9 million in total
pi-top's products include the pi-top laptop and the pi-topCEED desktop computer, both designed to simplify coding education for students aged 10-16
The funding will be used to expand the company's global reach and further develop its software offerings, including its gamified coding learning tools CEEDUniverse and pi-topCODER.
