NEBRA Secures $4.5 Million to Advance Zero-Knowledge Proof Technology
NEBRA, a UK-based research and development organisation focusing on blockchain privacy and scaling through zero-knowledge proofs, has raised $4.5 million in a combined Pre-Seed/Seed round
The round was led by Nascent and Bankless and included participation from angels like Tim Beiko from Ethereum Foundation and a16z Crypto Startup Accelerator
The funding will be used to further research the Shared Settlement Layer (SSL) of the new internet, tackling high costs of proof settlement on Ethereum and other blockchains by advancing ZKP technology.
ProblemTechnology
"Making zero-knowledge proof technology more accessible by lowering the cost of settlement on blockchains like Ethereum."
Solution
"NEBRA is developing a Shared Settlement Layer (SSL) that uses zero-knowledge proofs to enable cheaper and more efficient settlements for blockchain transactions."
