Shares, a London-based social investing app, has secured $40 million in Series B funding led by Valar Ventures, bringing its total funding to $90 million
The company plans to use the funds to expand across Europe and launch its crypto-asset proposition
Shares, co-founded by Harjas Singh, Ben Chemlas, and François Ruty, aims to build a social and community-powered investing app where users can trade, manage portfolios, and discuss opportunities with friends and family
Since its launch in May 2022, Shares has attracted over 150,000 users in the UK.
