CCEG Launches Seratio ICO to Advance Blockchain Powered Platform for Social Impact
The Centre for Citizenship, Enterprise and Governance (CCEG) is launching an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) for its Seratio Platform, a blockchain environment designed to track the value and impact of social impact initiatives
The ICO, which will run from October 1st to 31st, 2017, will accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, and fiat currencies
CCEG aims to expand adoption of its SERatio tool, which measures the social impact of decisions, and its Seratio Enterprise Blockchain Platform, which allows users to track their value and impact
The platform leverages CCEG’s financial and non-financial metrics measuring Total Value of transactions
The Seratio Token (SER) will function as a parent currency for the Seratio Community, with coins reflecting the worth of specific values to specific people, including coins and tokens that promote the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
ProblemTechnology
"Currently, it is difficult to measure the social impact of decisions made by institutions and individuals. This makes it challenging to incentivize and reward socially responsible actions."
Solution
"The Seratio platform uses blockchain technology to track the social impact of transactions. This allows individuals and organizations to earn, spend, and trade digital assets that represent their social impact. The platform also offers a variety of tools for measuring and reporting on social impact."
