B2C2 Secures $30 Million Investment from SBI Financial Services to Expand Crypto Offering
B2C2, a London-based institutional crypto trading firm, has received a $30 million minority investment from SBI Financial Services
SBI, a subsidiary of SBI Holdings, is the owner of Japan’s first digital bank and largest online brokerage
B2C2 will become SBI’s main liquidity provider as SBI expands its crypto offering to millions of existing customers
The investment will also allow B2C2 to expand its secured financing operation and develop a complete cross-asset prime brokerage business.
ProblemFinancial Services
"Traditional financial institutions are hesitant to enter the crypto market because of its complexity, lack of liquidity, and regulatory uncertainty. B2C2's existing institutional clients need access to a reliable and trusted prime brokerage that can provide them with the same level of service they are accustomed to in traditional markets."
Solution
"B2C2 provides institutional investors with a secure and transparent platform for trading digital assets. They offer a comprehensive suite of services, including OTC trading, prime brokerage, and custody. This allows institutions to access the crypto market with the same level of confidence and security they have in traditional markets."
