3DEO Secures £750,000 for 5D Mapping Platform
3DEO, a UK-based company developing a 5D mapping system, has secured £750,000 in funding from the North East Venture Fund (NEVF)
The company plans to use the funds for product development, new client projects, and job creation
3DEO's platform, used by BT and various ports, combines data from multiple sources to create a live 5D model of an area, enabling efficient infrastructure management
The company has previously received investment from Co Fund NI and FD Technologies.
ProblemTechnology Infrastructure
"Managing complex infrastructure like ports and harbours is difficult. Data from diverse sources, such as satellites, cameras, sensors, and vehicle tracking, is fragmented and difficult to visualize, making it hard to monitor and manage operations effectively."
Solution
"3DEO provides a 5D mapping platform that combines data from diverse sources into a single, interactive 3D model. This allows users to visualize and manage complex infrastructure in real-time, improving efficiency and decision-making."
