The round was led by BGF with participation from Forward Partners and Educapital
Makers plans to use the funds to offer a wider variety of tech bootcamp and apprenticeship courses over the next three years
Since its founding in 2012, Makers has trained over 3,000 software engineers and placed them with companies like Google and Deloitte Digital.
ProblemTechnology
"People with no prior tech experience are often blocked from becoming software engineers, despite the huge demand for these skills."
Solution
"Makers trains people from non-tech backgrounds as software engineers and helps them get jobs at leading tech companies."
