TrueLayer Secures $1.3 Million to Connect Fintech with Banking Data
TrueLayer, a UK-based platform for connecting app developers and fintech companies with banks and financial services institutions, has raised $1.3 million in seed funding
The round was led by Connect Ventures with participation from Graph Ventures, Tony Jamous, Eric Nadalin, and other angels with banking and enterprise software backgrounds
The funding will be used to continue developing the service, which is currently available in the UK with plans to expand to other European countries later this year
TrueLayer's API platform provides developers with tools to easily access bank data for building new financial services, such as payment apps, online lenders, robot advisors, and personal finance management tools
The company aims to provide a secure and compliant way to connect customer bank information and transactions while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
