Eventum Orthopaedics, a UK-based medtech startup, has secured £1.4 million in funding
The round was led by NPIF - Mercia Equity Finance, with participation from Mercia's EIS funds and private investors, including several orthopaedic surgeons
Eventum has developed a device that provides real-time measurements during knee replacement operations, allowing surgeons to improve decision-making
The funding will be used to finalize product development and bring the product to market in 2022
The company was founded by John Naybour and Paul Atherton, and has added Mike Cripps as Non-Executive Director and Jon Gonzales as Finance Director
Alan Ashby, with experience in international medical companies, has been appointed as Non-Executive Chair.
