CrowdJustice Raises $2M Seed Funding to Expand into the US
CrowdJustice, a London/NYC-based legal crowdfunding platform, has secured $2 million in seed funding led by Venrock and First Round Capital, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners and Kindred Capital
The funds will be used to expand the model into the US from the UK
CrowdJustice, led by CEO/Founder Julia Salasky, operates a platform for donation-based litigation crowdfunding
The platform has seen hundreds of cases raise over $3M in legal costs, including Supreme Court cases and a “people’s challenge” to Brexit in the UK, which won in the Supreme Court.
