DNAe, a London-based developer of semiconductor DNA sequencing technology, has secured a £25 million bank facility from Citibank
The company will use the funds to complete the development of its point-of-need test for serious blood infections, which includes clinical trials targeted for 2016 and product launch in 2017
DNAe is backed by international investors, including major shareholder Genting Berhad.
