Warwick Acoustics Secures £7 Million for In-Car Electrostatic Speaker Expansion
Warwick Acoustics, a UK-based developer of in-car electrostatic speakers, has raised £7 million in funding
The round was led by Mercia Ventures with participation from NFU Mutual and a range of private investors
The company intends to use the funds to invest in a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and ramp up manufacturing capacity
Warwick Acoustics develops electrostatic speakers that provide high-quality sound compared to conventional speakers and, due to their slim profile, offer greater flexibility to designers in terms of cabin layout
The products are manufactured from upcycled and easy to recycle materials, and, unlike conventional loudspeakers, use no rare earth metals.
