Stent Tek Secures Series A Funding for Kidney Dialysis Innovation
Stent Tek, a London-based medical device company, closed a Series A funding round of undisclosed amount
The company will use the funds to advance its ePATH AVF system, which is a novel catheter-based system for creating vascular access fistulas in haemodialysis patients
Stent Tek previously received £1.2m in grant funding from the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR), Innovate UK, and the Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub
The company anticipates the ePATH AVF catheter system will complete pre-clinical trials by Q4 2017.
