Irresistible Materials Secures £660K to Advance Microchip Technology
Irresistible Materials, a Birmingham, UK-based materials technology company, has raised £660,000 in funding from Mercia Fund Managers, a syndicate of US angels and a grant from Innovate UK
The funding will be used to develop and commercialise the company's photo-resist and carbon hard mask material, which are used in semiconductor manufacturing.
ProblemTechnology
"making semiconductor manufacturing more efficient by reducing the complexity and time it takes to develop new chip designs"
Solution
"developing a new photo-resist material that can be used to coat silicon chips for advanced chip manufacturing"
