ClinSpec Diagnostics Secures £3.5M Funding for Early Cancer Detection Technology
ClinSpec Diagnostics, a Glasgow-based developer of liquid biopsies for early cancer detection, has secured an additional £1.1M in funding, bringing its total raise to £3.5M
The investment was led by Norcliffe Capital Limited, with participation from the University of Strathclyde, Eos Advisory, and the founders
This follows an initial £2.4M investment in 2020 led by Mercia’s EIS Funds, with participation from Scottish Enterprise, SIS Ventures, Eos Advisory, and the University of Strathclyde
The company has raised a total of £5.1M to date, including seed funding in 2019 and grants from Higgs EDGE Special Award and Innovate UK.
