WNWN Food Labs Raises $5.6 Million to Bring Cocoa-Free Chocolate to Market
WNWN Food Labs, a London-based startup creating cocoa-free chocolate from plant-based ingredients, has secured $5.6 million in Series A funding
The round was led by PeakBridge with participation from Geschwister Oetker Beteiligungen Group, Martin Braun-Gruppe, Mustard Seed Maze, PINC, Investbridge AgriTech, and HackCapital
The company intends to use the funds to scale up manufacturing and hire more staff in preparation for a UK retail launch later this year
WNWN's cocoa-free chocolate is vegan, caffeine-free, gluten-free, palm oil-free, lower in sugar than comparable products, and safe for dogs
The company has already released two products via direct-to-consumer channels, both of which sold out quickly.
