Zepz Secures $292 Million in Series E Funding, Valued at $5 Billion
Zepz, formerly known as WorldRemit, a London-based digital cross-border payments platform, has raised $292 million in Series E funding, achieving a valuation of $5 billion
The round includes new equity investors Farallon Capital, among others, as well as backing from existing investors Leapfrog, TCV, and Accel
Zepz intends to use the funds to continue investing in its technology, platform, and customer proposition, expand in existing markets, and enter new ones
The company operates two brands (WorldRemit and Sendwave), with over 11 million users across 150 countries, generating almost $10 billion in Gross Send Volumes and $338 million in revenue in 2020.
