Hyperexponential Secures $18 Million in Funding Led by Highland Europe
Hyperexponential, a UK-based insurtech company specializing in modelling software for the commercial insurance sector, has raised $18 million in funding from Highland Europe
The company plans to use the funds to expand its product and engineering teams, explore new applications of its platform across the sector, and build out a commercial team
Founded in 2017 by Amrit Santhirasenan and Michael Johnson, both software engineers and qualified actuaries, Hyperexponential has seen its revenues increase threefold each year since launch
The company now employs 30 staff and its insurance client base accounts for around $50 billion worth of premium income.
