Sigmavision Raises £1 Million for Tyre Safety Technology
Sigmavision, a UK-based developer of a tool to check the safety of vehicle tyres, secured £1 million in funding
The investment came from the MEIF Proof-of-Concept & Early Stage Fund, managed by Mercia Fund managers, and private investors
The funds will be used to scale production capacity, set up a global sales and aftersales department, and accelerate product development
Sigmavision's handheld scanner uses 3D scanning technology to measure tread depth and tyre wear accurately
The company also developed drive-over ramps incorporating the same technology
