Oxwash Secures £1.75 Million Seed Funding for Sustainable Laundry Solutions
Oxwash, a London-based sustainable, on-demand laundry startup, has raised £1.75 million in seed funding
The round was led by RB Ventures, the new purpose-led venture arm of Reckitt Benckiser, with participation from TrueSight Ventures, Biz Stone (co-founder of Twitter), Paul Forster (founder of Indeed.com), Founders Factory, Oxford Technology Management, and other angel investors
Oxwash will use the funds to launch in London, invest further into its proprietary technology platform, and expand in North America and Europe in the next 12-18 months
Oxwash's ozone generation technology and delivery system provide a high level of disinfection, enabling them to serve the healthcare sector and the Oxford University coronavirus vaccine trial
The company provides laundry services to the NHS, GP practices, care homes, vulnerable people at home, and hotels housing key workers.
