Dronamics Secures $40 Million for Cargo Drone Expansion

  • Dronamics, a London-based cargo drone airline, has raised $40 million in pre-Series A funding led by Founders Factory, Speedinvest, Eleven Capital, and the Strategic Development Fund (SDF)

  • Dronamics develops and operates large, long-range drones built specifically for cargo, with its flagship Black Swan drone capable of carrying 350 kg up to 2,500 km

  • SDF's investment will also lead to the creation of a UAE-based joint venture, expanding Dronamics' capacity and establishing operations in the Middle East and North Africa region.

"Shipping goods long distances is expensive, slow, and environmentally damaging."

      Solution

"Dronamics is building large, long-range drones that can carry cargo up to 350 kg for 2,500 km. This is up to 80% faster, 50% cheaper, and 60% lower in emissions compared to traditional airfreight. This will enable same-day shipping over very long distances for industries like pharmaceuticals, food, e-commerce, and spare parts."
