Stanhope AI Secures £2.3M Seed Funding to Advance Human-Like AI
Stanhope AI, a London-based company using neuroscience research to develop AI that makes human-like decisions, has raised £2.3 million in seed funding
The round was led by UCL Technology Fund and included participation from Creator Fund, MMC Ventures, Moonfire Ventures, Rockmount Capital and angel investors
Stanhope AI’s technology allows for AI models to learn autonomously, decoding their environments and refining their “world models” using real-time data, without the need for prior training
The company was founded as a spinout from University College London and plans to use the funding to expand operations and development efforts.
ProblemTechnology
"Current AI systems are often limited by needing to be trained on massive datasets and struggle to make decisions in complex real-world situations."
Solution
"Stanhope AI uses neuroscience research to develop AI models that can learn autonomously from real-time data, allowing them to make human-like decisions in dynamic environments without requiring extensive pre-training."
