Quantum Imaging Secures £4.6M Series A to Advance Medical Imaging Technology
Quantum Imaging, a UK-based medical device company, has raised £4.6 million in Series A funding
The funding was led by IP Group and included participation from the University of Leeds, members of the Quantum Imaging management team, and new investors
The funds will be used for further development of the company's imaging technology
Quantum Imaging was spun out of the University of Leeds in 2014 to commercialize imaging technology developed in the university's Quantum Information group
The company is initially focused on the rapid triage of patients with chest pain.
