Crypta Labs Raises €3 Million to Secure Critical Infrastructure in the Post-Quantum Computing World
Crypta Labs, a London-based quantum cybersecurity startup, has raised €3 million in a funding round led by Bloc Ventures, including €1.1 million in debt financing from Innovate UK
The investment will be used to develop Crypta Labs' Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG) technology and bring the first Quantum-enabled Hardware Security Module (QHSM) to market
Crypta Labs' QRNG technology is designed to address the security threats posed by quantum computing, which could potentially weaken or render obsolete current security measures
The company is also developing commercial applications for its technology, including connected automotive applications in the Czech Republic and medical devices in the USA.
ProblemTechnology
"Quantum computing poses significant security threats by potentially rendering current security measures obsolete due to its ability to break existing cryptographic algorithms."
Solution
"Crypta Labs offers quantum-resistant cybersecurity solutions, including Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG) and Quantum-enabled Hardware Security Modules (QHSM), to protect critical data and communication devices in various sectors like aerospace, communication, medical, military, and transport."
