Skyports Raises $23 Million for Air Taxi Ports and Drone Delivery Expansion
Skyports, a UK-based urban air mobility infrastructure provider and drone delivery operator, has secured $23 million in the first close of its Series B funding round
The investment came from a combination of new and existing investors, including Deutsche Bahn Digital Ventures, Groupe ADP, Solar Ventus, Irelandia, Levitate Capital, Kanematsu Corporation, Goodman Group, 2i Aeroporti, and GreenPoint
Skyports plans to use the funds to accelerate its work with electric air taxi manufacturers and operators, providing take-off and landing infrastructure in key launch markets and scaling its drone delivery services in new and existing markets
The company aims to consolidate its position as a global leader in the advanced air mobility infrastructure and drone operations markets.
